November 2010
It seemed like most of November was spent with everyone being sick (except Kennedy-don't ask me how she missed it since she is always the first to catch something and the last one to get over it). Both Kennedy and I had doctor appointments on the 9th. Kennedy's was just her yearly check-up (and flu shot) and mine was for the baby (I got a flu shot too). All went well, except that I have already gained 3 pounds, Yuck!! Talen had an appointment to have an x-ray on the 24th to see if he is having reflux issues. Dr. Kaddu thought that if he was, that may be the cause for his "wiggly mood". Thankfully Jay was able to come with me because they needed us to feed him through his button and since I am pregnant, I couldn't go back there. Turns out that the test came back negative for reflux (this is good, but still doesn't tell us why he gets wiggly). Anyway, as soon as we finished at the hospital, we packed up and headed to Idaho for Thanksgiving. It was nice to spend time with family (even if Shad and LaNae skipped town on us-little turds!!). Thanksgiving night around 10:30, Karma, Mom, and I went to Pocatello for Black Friday. I don't think I have ever rubbed up against so many people in my life. It was insane!!! I have done Black Friday before, but nothing prepared me for that!! I also realized that I had no idea how to Black Friday shop until I had done it with Karma. Holy cow, she is the ultimate shopper. It was so fun and crazy all at the same time. But, thanks to Karma's shopping skills, we came home with almost everything we went for. We finally made it home the next morning around 11 and it was off to bed for us. After closely watching the news that day, we decided it would be best for us to head home a day early to miss a huge storm that was passing through all of Utah. The only problem was that we had loaned out our house to the Wilson's while we were in Idaho, so that they wouldn't have to rent a hotel while they were here visiting their family. Thankfully I had won a free night at a hotel from a race that I had participated in earlier this year. So, when we pulled into town, we unloaded some of our stuff at home, visited with the Wilson's a little, and off to the hotel. It was actually a really nice stay!!

Justin & Jerrica's Wedding
The official clearance finally came through for Justin and Jerrica to be sealed in the St. George Temple. They had been waiting since October for the official OK so once it came, they had the wedding two days later. Jerrica took out her endowments that morning and the sealing immediately followed. Thankfully I have great friends and family who watched the kids and got them ready for me. After the wedding, there were pictures and a small family luncheon/dinner at the Sunbrook Golf Club. It was a nice day (even though it was freezing!!!)

Kennedy's Singing Program
This is Kennedy's last singing performance for 2010. She had gone back and forth on what to sing, but finally decided on "Zip-Dee-Doo-Dah." This was one definitely the quickest of all Kennedy's performances so far. Dylan, Trey, and Hailey were all sick, so we were only there to watch KiKi. And her teacher was nice enough to put her as the third performer so we were in and out of there in 20 minutes (which was great for us, because Jay and I had planned a Date Night with friends that night.)

Who Let Jay Babysit?!?!?
Since Mark was at work and Eliza had to go to Mutual, I offered to babysit their kids. It wasn't until after she had already dropped them off that I remembered that I promised my visiting teaching partner that we would do our visits that night. So, I figured it was no big deal, Jay could handle a couple extra kids of an hour or so. Well, when I got home, the music was BLARING!! The funniest part about the whole thing is that this is so out of the "norm" for the Adams' kids. They are so quiet and reserved, so to see them dancing around to Jay's crazy moves was just more than I could handle. (and since I figured Eliza wouldn't believe me when I told her what happened, I got out the camera as proof!!)
