We sure didn't do much this month. Kennedy had her SUVA tryouts and was thrilled when she made the A team. She will start practice (twice a week) next month and then tournaments start in February. Daxton had his SEP and of course he is doing great. He loves school, his teacher, and all his new friends. Talen had a follow-up appointment with Dr. Kaddu on the 18th. He said that this was the best he has ever seen Talen - which is true, Talen is doing so good right now (knock on wood). The only other events this month was Thanksgiving (we just celebrated at home and with the Pulsiphers) and Black Friday (I did most of my shopping online this year, so the crazyness of Black Friday was pretty minimal). That's it for November!!

Daxton's Family Portrait
Daxton made this at school today. I love that he's thankful for his family but . . . notice that someone is missing?!?!
Dax - "I'm thankful for my family."
Me - "and who did you draw?"
Dax - "Dad, you, KiKi, Carter, and me"
Me - "aren't you forgetting someone?"
Dax - "there wasn't enough room for Talen"
Me - "well what about up here in the corner"
Dax (rolling his eyes) - "His wheelchair doesn't fly Mom!"
Jay and I couldn't stop laughing! His wheelchair is pretty cool, but no, it doesn't fly!!

Carter and the Penguin
We were walking through Lin's and saw this cute little penguin sitting in the isle. Carter did not want to leave home without it!! I couldn't help snapping a few pictures before I had to drag him away. What a cutie pie!!

Helping Dad
Daxton has always been my big helper. The other day I caught him "helping" Jay push the trailer back up beside the house. What a good boy!!

David Archuleta Concert
I'll admit, I wasn't really all that thrilled about going to a David Archuleta concert when Brooke first asked us if we wanted to get tickets with them. I figured that Kennedy would have fun and it would be nice to do something just mother/daughter, so we decided to buy the tickets. I am very glad that we did. The girls had a blast, and I even enjoyed myself!! He did such a good job and it is nice to go to a concert where you are certain that you will only hear good, clean music. The girls loved it and are already talking about buying tickets next year. We just need to make sure that next year we get meet-and-greet tickets so that Brooke doesn't make us try to sneak in again - hehehe!

SUVA Tryouts
Well, we gave in and decided to let Kennedy tryout for a volleyball club team. At first we weren't sure if we wanted to do SUVA or Lanikai, but SUVA was closer (and she had attended their summer camp) so the decision was made. She went to tryouts and a couple very long days later, they finally announced the teams. Kennedy made it on the 13A team. Her coach is Kami Wilkinson. The other girls on the team are: front row Helen Smith, Kaydence Vandivner, Halle Wilkinson, Annika Moore, Hadley McElyea, Kennedy back row Brooklyn Rhodes, McKenzie Ashton, Macie Hokinson, not pictured Maggie Clarke
