May 2011
Daxton lost his umbilical cord on May 1st (9 days old). He also had his 2 week doctor's appointment on the 11th. He weighed in at 9 pounds 1.5 ounces which puts him in the 50 percentile. His height is 20.75 inches which is in the 41 percentile. Our little boy is growing up fast!! I had my first experience with taking out all 3 kids by myself. Talen and Kennedy both had dentist appointments and Jay had to work, so I bit the bullet and did it. It wasn't too bad. Dax stayed asleep for most of the time. Talen and Kennedy were both in the chair at the same time (just in different rooms) so I was constantly going back and forth to check on them both. They both did wonderfully. Talen even let them get some x-rays of his front teeth (and no cavities!!!) Kennedy has to get another cap on one, but that will be done in a couple months. Kennedy and Talen both had their last day of school this month. So, Kennedy finished up 1st grade and Talen made it through another year of preschool. While they both enjoy being out of school, Jay had to start summer school. He is taking one 5 week class and one 8 week class. The 5 week one started on the 31st and the 8 week will start next month. Busy, busy, busy!!!

Brooke stopped by to see Daxton while she was on this side of town. So, we pulled out the camera to get a couple pictures of Hailey with her newest cousin. What a couple of cuties!!!

Kennedy's 1st Baseball Game!!
We decided to let Kennedy try another sport, baseball. She is on a 1st & 2nd grade boys & girls team and it is coach-pitch. They are call Team Star Nursery (I guess Star Nursery is the one who is sponsoring them). Her coach is so nice and Kennedy really seems to enjoy it. In fact, she is actually pretty good. She hits better than most of the boys on her team. (Plus Jay is having a ball practicing a sport with her that he enjoys too!) So for the next month, our Tuesdays and Saturday are going to be spent at the baseball fields!!
Daxton - 2 1/2 weeks
Here are some pictures of Daxton at 2 1/2 weeks. These are a couple of the ones that I liked (they aren't edited yet because I am missing my Photoshop disc).

Welcome to the Jungle
Kennedy's singing/acting class had another program. This time they performed "Welcome to the Jungle." Kennedy was one of the three storytellers (she also played the monkey because the girl who was supposed to do it didn't show up.) She did such a good job!! She had every line memorized (and most of the other kids lines memorized as well!) GREAT JOB KIKI!!!
