It seemed like most of November was spent with everyone being sick (except Kennedy-don't ask me how she missed it since she is always the first to catch something and the last one to get over it). Both Kennedy and I had doctor appointments on the 9th. Kennedy's was just her yearly check-up (and flu shot) and mine was for the baby (I got a flu shot too). All went well, except that I have already gained 3 pounds, Yuck!! Talen had an appointment to have an x-ray on the 24th to see if he is having reflux issues. Dr. Kaddu thought that if he was, that may be the cause for his "wiggly mood". Thankfully Jay was able to come with me because they needed us to feed him through his button and since I am pregnant, I couldn't go back there. Turns out that the test came back negative for reflux (this is good, but still doesn't tell us why he gets wiggly). Anyway, as soon as we finished at the hospital, we packed up and headed to Idaho for Thanksgiving. It was nice to spend time with family (even if Shad and LaNae skipped town on us-little turds!!). Thanksgiving night around 10:30, Karma, Mom, and I went to Pocatello for Black Friday. I don't think I have ever rubbed up against so many people in my life. It was insane!!! I have done Black Friday before, but nothing prepared me for that!! I also realized that I had no idea how to Black Friday shop until I had done it with Karma. Holy cow, she is the ultimate shopper. It was so fun and crazy all at the same time. But, thanks to Karma's shopping skills, we came home with almost everything we went for. We finally made it home the next morning around 11 and it was off to bed for us. After closely watching the news that day, we decided it would be best for us to head home a day early to miss a huge storm that was passing through all of Utah. The only problem was that we had loaned out our house to the Wilson's while we were in Idaho, so that they wouldn't have to rent a hotel while they were here visiting their family. Thankfully I had won a free night at a hotel from a race that I had participated in earlier this year. So, when we pulled into town, we unloaded some of our stuff at home, visited with the Wilson's a little, and off to the hotel. It was actually a really nice stay!!
