Costco

We decided to take all the kids to Costco today and while we were waiting for Jay to unload Talen, these two little hooligans were hamming it up to all the passersby.  And anybody that walked by that was old got called Grandpa by Carter, hehehe.

Kennedy plays Basketball

This has been a very interesting season of basketball for Kennedy.  I would definitely say that her first game and her last game were her best.  The ones in the middle where pretty good too, but she was a little less aggressive than we'd like to see her.  Don't get me wrong, she is doing great and we are so proud of her, but she really has so much potential.  The interesting thing about this season was her coach.  None of the parents volunteered so they just had someone from the Rec Center be the coach, which would have been ok if she would have coached them.  One particular game was terrible!  We had girls on our own team fighting each other.  After that game, the coach finally kicked it into gear and we ended the season on a good note (which is good because it's really all about the kids having fun anyway.) We are so proud of our little basketball player!!

Reading to Grandma & Grandpa

Daxton has this "I Spy" book that we have read to him so many times that he has it memorized.  So when Grandma & Grandpa were here, we had him "read" it to them.  They were pretty impressed!

Cheyenne and Baby Ian came to visit!!

We have had a lot of visitors the last week or two.  On the 3rd, Grandma Cindy & Grandpa Dallan stopped by for the night on their way through to California with Reed & LaDean Stanley.  Then on the 11th I drove down to Vegas to pick up Cheyenne and Baby Ian at the airport.  Apparently, just before they landed, another airplane lost a bunch of fuel on the runway, so her plane (along with a zillion others) were diverted.  After 4 hours of hanging out at the airport, they finally made it!!  We drove home and spend the next couple days just hanging out and visiting.  Carter was loving having a baby around.  Every time he had the chance he was hugging him, or loving him, or trying to lay on top of him!! On the 14th, Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Dallan stopped by again on their way back from California.  This time they stayed longer.  We spent the next several days just enjoying Baby Ian (and Cheyenne and Grandma and Grandpa too, of course.)    We were thrilled to have the company and were so sad when they all left on the 17th.  Now we get to look forward to June when we will all get back together again!!  (Sure wish Cheyenne didn't live so stinking far away!!)
