Sometimes we are so lame because we never to anywhere or do anything. So for Spring Break, we decided to take the plunge and take the kids over to Fiesta Fun!! hehehe We were kinda in a time crunch because we only had an hour and a half that Holly was able to be at the house to watch Talen. So we made the most of our time! We met Talia and Brooke (and their kids) for a couple fun rides on the bumper cars. They wanted to do mini golf too, but because we had to be back, I left Kennedy while the boys and I ran back home just in time to relieve Holly. It's not much, but I hope that the little adventures here and there are enough to give our kids an eventful childhood!!

Gavin & Kaylyn got married!!
Well, it finally happened!! Gavin got hitched!! He and Kaylyn went through the temple and were sealed on March 9th. It was a beautiful ceremony and I loved that we were able to go. Sadly, because Kaylyn is the only member of her family that is LDS, it was mostly just the Vaughn clan. So, the next day they had a little ceremony in Las Vegas at the Shanendoah Ranch for her family and friends. Jay was a groomsmen, Kennedy was a bridesmaids, and the boys were ring bearers. (We left Talen home because traveling lately has become too hard for him.) The little ceremony was great and the reception afterwards was fun. The only bad part was that it was overcast and had rain showers the entire time. So, we were wet and a little cold, but that didn't damper any of the fun! I think the highlight of the whole day was when Daxton hit the dance floor. Boy that kid can shake it! Everyone was giggling and he was eating it up. We definitely have a preformer on our hands. It was such a fun day (other than we missed Talen). Congrats Gavin & Kaylyn!!

Kennedy got beat up
In school today Kennedy learned how to do some realistic face makeup. . . . and she is really good at doing it!! Anyway, she came home and recreated this. It was so believable!! And, when given the opportunity, you can't pass up a good prank - so we called Jay and told him that one of Kennedy's friends tripped her while walking home from school. He didn't seem too concerned until we sent him the pictures. Now, remember, Gavin's wedding is in 3 days and Kennedy is in the line, so Jay was super worried when he saw the pic. It wasn't until he got home and she had a cleaned it off that he finally stopped freaking out. We laughed so hard!! Kennedy definitely has a talent - for makeup and pranking, hehehe!!

Cute Cousins
While Jay and I took Kennedy to her volleyball tournament in Las Vegas, we asked Brooke to watch the boys (Cathy had Talen). We had told Brooke to just drop the boys off at Cathy's while she went to her neice's baptism, but she was daring and decided to take them along. Here are some of the pictures that she sent us of her little posee!
SUVA 14's Tournament #3
We arranged for Cathy to watch Talen and Brooke to watch the little boys so that Jay could come down to Vegas with us. The first game they won pretty easily (the opponent was a 13's team). The scores were 25-17 and 25-18. The second game was even easier 25-11 and 25-17. But after watching the other teams, we knew that her third game was going to be a good one. They played pretty good, but lost the first set 19-25. The second set they played awesome and won 25-19. Sadly, they seemed to have fallen apart on the third set because they lost 4-15. Well, they can no longer say they are undefeated. Kennedy played really well and only missed one serve (and she served probably 20 times). All her sets were great and she even had some really good dumps. So proud of how much she loves the game and her willingness to put in the hard work to play. 💗🏐
